About Corbisez

Here, Every Home Is Built to Be Remembered.

Most contractors treat your home like a job number. That's not our style.

Justin Corbisez grew up a contractor's son. He was on his first job site at four years old, and he's spent every year since learning something most builders never do: a home isn't a portfolio piece. It's where a family lives, and it's usually the biggest thing they'll ever spend money on.

That's why every line is straight, every surface level, every corner plumb. No gaps, no caulk lines, and no crew in your house you haven't met. One team treats the place like their own until the work looks like it belongs there.

Client Voices

Trusted With the Homes People Love Most.

We loved working with Justin and his crew. They've done extensive work in our home. Most recently 2 bathrooms that turned out beautiful! Justin is professional and really helped us through the decisions from start to finish. His team is polite and were very accommodating of our busy household and are now like family. I'll have the entire team back for many more projects in the future!
Katie R.Bathroom Remodels · Winter Gardens, San Diego5.0 ★★★★★
We had Corbisez's Custom Homes paint our house a few years ago and we still love the color. He came out really quick to give us a quote and even had some great ideas because I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted. He was always on time, easy to work with, and got the job done pretty fast. A few years later our house still looks great and we love how it turned out. We'll definitely be using him again for future home projects and upgrades. I would absolutely recommend him.
Calle L.Exterior Repaint · Ramona5.0 ★★★★★
We moved out for four months and handed Justin the keys to our home. He handed back the house we'd been dreaming about. We're already planning the next project with him.
Ilya S.Whole-Home Renovation · Oceanside5.0 ★★★★★
Every other contractor either ghosted us or threw out numbers that made no sense. Corbisez gave us one honest price and one clear timeline, then beat both. The tile work is genuinely perfect.
Mara & David L.Kitchen Remodel · North Park5.0 ★★★★★
What sold us was that the person we met is the person who did the work. No rotating crews, no surprises, and they treated our home like it was theirs. White-glove is the only way to describe it.
Christine R.Primary Bath Remodel · La Mesa5.0 ★★★★★
Corbisez remodeled our kitchen and guest bath back-to-back. On budget, on schedule, and the site was spotless every single night. You can tell Justin was raised on job sites.
Daniel & Priya K.Kitchen & Bath · El Cajon5.0 ★★★★★
We got four quotes. Corbisez wasn't the cheapest one, but they were the clearest by far. Everything was line-item, no surprises, and our architect called the finish work perfect.
Samantha T.Whole-Home Renovation · Carlsbad5.0 ★★★★★
Fast answers and real craftsmanship. The addition looks original to the house. We've already referred two neighbors.

Our Philosophy

Built by the Few, for the Few.

We take on three or four projects at a time, and that's on purpose. We could grow faster, but good work doesn't come off an assembly line, and split attention shows up in the finish. So we keep the list short and put everything into the homes we do take on. Our name is on every one of them, and around here that still means something.

Reserve Your Spot

We take on only a few projects each season, so it's worth reserving your spot early.

Questions, Answered

Straight Answers Before You Start.

What does a remodel actually cost in San Diego?+

Honest ranges from our recent work: most kitchen remodels run $20,000 to $80,000, bathrooms $15,000 to $50,000, and a whole-home renovation lands somewhere between $100,000 and $250,000. Your free estimate is a line-item budget, so you can see where every dollar goes before anything starts.

How long will my remodel take?+

Most bathrooms take three to five weeks, kitchens six to ten weeks, and a whole-home renovation runs three to six months. We put a realistic timeline in writing before the first tool comes out, and then we hold ourselves to it.

Do you use subcontractors?+

We do nearly all of the work ourselves, which is how we keep the quality, consistency, and attention to detail high from the first day to the final walkthrough. When a project calls for a specialized trade, we bring in a small group of professionals we've personally vetted and hold to the same standards of craftsmanship, communication, and care.

Are you licensed and insured?+

Yes. Corbisez Custom Homes is a licensed and insured California contractor, and we're happy to walk you through our license, insurance, and warranty paperwork at your consultation.

Do we need to move out during the renovation?+

For kitchens and baths, most families stay put. We seal off the work, keep the dust down, and leave the site clean every evening. For a whole-home renovation, a lot of clients choose to move out, like the Oceanside family who handed us their keys and came home to a finished house.

What if you open a wall and find surprises?+

Older San Diego homes hide things, and we plan for it. Your estimate includes honest contingencies up front, and if we find something mid-project you get photos, options, and real numbers that same day. Nothing moves forward without your sign-off, and a surprise is never an excuse to pad the bill.

Will construction turn my family's life upside down?+

We build around your family, not the other way around. We seal off the work zones, keep safe paths for kids and pets, and clean the site every single evening. Before we leave each day, you'll know exactly what's happening tomorrow.

How does the free estimate work?+

Tell us about your project using the form below. Justin reads your answers himself and reaches out within one business day to set up a walkthrough. You'll get honest feedback and a realistic ballpark, free and with no obligation.

Which areas do you serve?+

All of San Diego County. That runs from Oceanside and Carlsbad on the coast, through North Park and Hillcrest in the city, out to La Mesa, El Cajon, and Santee in the east county.
