A complete whole-home remodel in Oceanside: reworked layout, two fully rebuilt bathrooms, a custom kitchen, and new flooring, doors, trim, and lighting throughout. Arched openings, custom vanities, and a redesigned front walkway and landscaping gave the entire house one cohesive character.
Start a project like this +A full gut-and-rebuild bathroom remodel in Lakeside, from demolition through new tile, flooring, vanity, lighting, and ventilation. The showpiece is a reframed shower with a full-length niche and built-in LED lighting, finished with a custom tile transition instead of a clunky reducer strip.
Start a project like this +We removed the old staircase, reframed the space for an open layout, and built a custom staircase with metal posts and cable railing. Hand-stained red oak treads in a rich Gunstock finish make it the first thing every guest in this La Jolla home asks about.
Start a project like this +A first-floor renovation in Poway with wood-plank tile flooring installed throughout and fresh paint on every wall, ceiling, door, and trim line, right down to the staircase handrail. The fireplace was rebuilt with new tile and a mantel to anchor the room.

Most contractors treat your home like a job number. That's not our style.
Justin Corbisez grew up a contractor's son. He was on his first job site at four years old, and he's spent every year since learning something most builders never do: a home isn't a portfolio piece. It's where a family lives, and it's usually the biggest thing they'll ever spend money on.
That's why every line is straight, every surface level, every corner plumb. No gaps, no caulk lines, and no crew in your house you haven't met. One team treats the place like their own until the work looks like it belongs there.
Four commitments we put in writing on every project, before we start.
Line-item estimates you can read top to bottom. No hidden allowances, no surprise change orders.
A realistic timeline we commit to before work begins, plus progress you can actually see day to day.
Questions answered same-day. You'll never wonder what's happening in your own home.
Straight, level, plumb. Your home treated like our own, down to the daily clean-up.
A remodel should feel guided, not endured. Four clear steps keep you informed, on budget, and never once wondering who's in your house or what happens next.
Share your vision, budget, and timeline. We listen, walk the space, and give you honest, no-obligation feedback.
Materials, finishes, and a line-item budget you can read top to bottom. You get one price and one timeline before any work starts.
One team builds the whole thing, straight, level, and plumb. You get daily updates and a site that's clean every evening.
We don't sign off until you're proud of it, and then we stand behind the work with a real warranty.
No pressure, no pitch. A straightforward conversation about your space, your budget, and whether we're the right team to build it. We only take a handful of projects at a time, which is exactly why yours would get our full attention.
A five-star experience, from first call to final walkthrough.
We take on three or four projects at a time, and that's on purpose. We could grow faster, but good work doesn't come off an assembly line, and split attention shows up in the finish. So we keep the list short and put everything into the homes we do take on. Our name is on every one of them, and around here that still means something.
We take on only a few projects each season, so it's worth reserving your spot early.
A San Diego remodeling contractor working across the whole county, from the coast to the foothills. That includes:
Honest ranges from our recent work: most kitchen remodels run $20,000 to $80,000, bathrooms $15,000 to $50,000, and a whole-home renovation lands somewhere between $100,000 and $250,000. Your free estimate is a line-item budget, so you can see where every dollar goes before anything starts.
Most bathrooms take three to five weeks, kitchens six to ten weeks, and a whole-home renovation runs three to six months. We put a realistic timeline in writing before the first tool comes out, and then we hold ourselves to it.
We do nearly all of the work ourselves, which is how we keep the quality, consistency, and attention to detail high from the first day to the final walkthrough. When a project calls for a specialized trade, we bring in a small group of professionals we've personally vetted and hold to the same standards of craftsmanship, communication, and care.
Yes. Corbisez Custom Homes is a licensed and insured California contractor, and we're happy to walk you through our license, insurance, and warranty paperwork at your consultation.
For kitchens and baths, most families stay put. We seal off the work, keep the dust down, and leave the site clean every evening. For a whole-home renovation, a lot of clients choose to move out, like the Oceanside family who handed us their keys and came home to a finished house.
Older San Diego homes hide things, and we plan for it. Your estimate includes honest contingencies up front, and if we find something mid-project you get photos, options, and real numbers that same day. Nothing moves forward without your sign-off, and a surprise is never an excuse to pad the bill.
We build around your family, not the other way around. We seal off the work zones, keep safe paths for kids and pets, and clean the site every single evening. Before we leave each day, you'll know exactly what's happening tomorrow.
